During the third quarter of 2023, the top five news and magazines apps on Android in Switzerland exhibited varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

SRF News - Nachrichten saw a consistent level of weekly downloads, ranging from around 1.3K to 1.6K. Notably, downloads peaked at approximately 1.6K in the final week of September. Weekly active users fluctuated between 69K and 80K, with the highest number of active users recorded at around 80.6K at the end of June and another peak at 77.3K in the last week of September.

The TELETEXT App experienced significant spikes in weekly downloads, particularly in the week of August 21, reaching a remarkable 4.6K. Other notable peaks occurred in early September with 3.4K downloads. The lowest download count was around 165 in mid-July.

RSI - Info, Sport, Cultura, although released at the end of August, showed strong initial performance with weekly downloads peaking at 4.6K in the first week of September. The following weeks saw a decline, with the lowest downloads at 388 in the last week of September.
